Château Ducru Beaucaillou 1998
Saint-Julien - 2nd Grand Cru Rated
91/100 Parker
Cellaring : 2005 - 2025
Reviewed by Robert M. Parker, Jr. on April 23, 2001: "Supremely elegant and dense purple-colored, the 1998 reveals aromas of black currants, black raspberries, minerals, and currants. Precise, well-delineated, with magnificent purity and understated elegance, this noble, restrained wine reveals a tannic finish, suggesting 4-5 years of cellaring is necessary."
