Order wine : Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes 2022 - Faiveley
(93-95)/100 Parker
‘Faiveley's 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes opens with lovely aromas of raspberry, rose petals, peony and spice. It is fairly full-bodied, supple and suave, with a fresh, concentrated fruity core, smooth tannins and a long, mineral finish. It is particularly powerful this year. William Kelley

Tasting and ageing potential
On opening, this wine reveals a refined bouquet of crisp red fruit, violets and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, its silky touch reveals a beautiful complexity, combining freshness and depth with delicately melted tannins. This 1er Cru can be enjoyed straight away after spending an hour in a carafe, but it also promises harmonious ageing over 15 to 20 years. Serve it between 16 and 17°C to bring out all its finesse, with roast duck fillet or truffle risotto.
