Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 1988 - Faiveley

Tasting notes : ‘Faiveley produced a stunning Clos Vougeot in 1988, bursting with the scents of redcurrants and toasty oak. On the palate, it's pure velvet of jammy red fruit, with a long, heady, alcoholic finish. This is a big wine by 1988 standards, and while I didn't see much tannin in it, its sheer size suggests it will last for up to a decade.’ Parker ‘90.
