A refined cuvée from Maison Faiveley
Maison Faiveley has added Montagny Les Cent Pièces, a Chardonnay from the limestone terroirs of the southern Côte Chalonnaise, to its prestigious portfolio. This white Burgundy seduces with its subtle balance between aromatic richness and mineral freshness. On tasting, it reveals a lovely floral intensity, accompanied by notes of citrus fruit and fresh almonds, underpinned by a hint of butter. It is full and lively on the palate, with a lingering finish marked by elegant salinity.
Serving suggestions and ageing potential
Montagny Les Cent Pièces is best enjoyed between 10 and 12°C to bring out its aromatic complexity. It is the perfect accompaniment to seafood, fish in sauce and poultry in cream sauce. It has good ageing potential: it can be enjoyed now for its liveliness, or waited a few years to gain in roundness and depth. A great white Burgundy wine for those who appreciate finesse and elegance.
