CHARACTERISTIC OF THE APPELLATION
The village of Rully has been inhabited since ancient times and its wine has long been appreciated. In 1629, King Louis XIII received 22 bottles of Rully wine as a gift during his visit to Chalon-sur-Saône. The white wine of Rully is nowadays one of the most important appellations of the Côte Chalonnaise.
TASTING
Dark ruby color with purple highlights. The nose opens with aromas of fresh red fruits and spices accompanied by woody touches. In the mouth, the attack is supple and continues on fruity aromas. Slightly tannic, this wine is well balanced and expresses with delicacy the aromas of Pinot Noir.

VINIFICATION & MATURING
The grapes are cut and sorted by hand. The proportions of de-stemming and whole grapes vary with each vintage. The grapes are punched down twice a day to extract their color, tannins and aromas from the skins. After 15 to 19 days of vatting, the alcoholic fermentation is completed. The free-run wine is drained by gravity, while a slow and gentle pressing of the marc results in a press wine of great purity. For 12 months, we mature the wines in French oak barrels (10% of which are new) selected for the fineness of their grain and their moderate toasting in the cellars with a natural and constant hygrometry and temperature.
