Tasting by William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Figeac is the best wine to come out of this estate since its rebirth a decade ago. It is medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a smooth, harmonious profile, vibrant acidity and beautifully refined, structuring tannins. This sapid, complex wine represents the very essence of this great terroir. Two years on from in-depth studies of the estate's soil, and the first growing season in which cover crops were used in the vineyards throughout the year, the 2020 has benefited from more consistent parcel delineation and more precise ageing, which together help to explain its lead over the excellent 2019."
