Fleurie is a French wine produced in the Rhône recognised since 1936 by the INAO as an appellation contrôlée. Fleurie is part of the Beaujolais vineyard and is one of the 10 crus of the vineyard and one of the best known. Its neighbouring appellations are Moulin-à-vent to the north-east, Chiroubles to the south-west and Morgon to the south. We can say that Fleurie has very good neighbours. With its 855 hectares planted with Gamay Noir, the vineyard produces an average of 38,925 hectolitres each year. Planted on granite soil, the vines offer a dry and rather fruity red wine for tasting. The appellation has thirteen Climats, the most famous of which are La Chapelle des Bois, Champagne, Les Moriers, La Roilette and La Madone.
