Bourgogne Cote d'Or 2023 - François Mikulski
From the wine estate
The Burgundy Chardonnay vines that we have been growing since 1992 belong to Marie Pierre and François MIKULSKI .
Their total surface area is 1.5 ha. One was planted in 1986 and the other in 2005 by François MIKULSKI. Their grape varieties are 100% Chardonnay. Annual production: about 9000 bottles. The vines are cultivated under non-certified organic methods.
The subsoil is composed of fine river alluvium, common in the lower part of the hillside. The wine is aged in oak barrels for about 10 months, then racked and put in vats for 2 months before bottling. These two plots that we work are located on the edge of the MEURSAULT appellation, which gives the wine characteristics similar to those of a Meursault: long on the palate, fat, good conservation.
