Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune Chardonnay 2023 - François Mikulski
From the wine estate
Pure elegance
François Mikulski's Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune Chardonnay is a wine of great finesse, grown on high-altitude terroirs. This Chardonnay is distinguished by its supple texture and aromatic bouquet, with notes of white-fleshed fruit such as pear and apple, accompanied by subtle floral and mineral touches. On the palate, it's well-balanced, with a lovely freshness that blends harmoniously with a discreet roundness, thanks to light oak ageing. This wine is best enjoyed between 10 and 12°C, to fully appreciate its liveliness and refinement.
Ageing potential and characteristics
Part of the Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune appellation, this Chardonnay can be kept for 3 to 5 years, although its youthfulness already gives it great complexity. It can also be aged for longer, gaining richness and depth with age. This organic wine is perfect with seafood, grilled fish or even creamy cheeses. It will appeal to lovers of fresh, structured white wines, ideally served with summer meals or special occasions.
