This wine comes from the parcels of Les Tillets situated at the very top of the hillside, above Les Bouchères, at an altitude of 340m.
The total surface area is 0.18 hectares. The average age of the vines is 5 years.
The grape variety is 100% Chardonnay. Annual production: about 1200 bottles.
The vines are cultivated in uncertified organic farming.
The subsoil is made up of platelet rocks.
This wine is best served with warm shellfish, fish or white meat, preferably with butter or cream sauce (chicken with cream and morel mushrooms; scallops, warm oysters, etc...).
The mouth reveals Comice pear, dried fruit and citrus fruits, fruit paste with orange, bitter orange. The finish is formidable in terms of density and length, it lasts an eternity. Ideally, a Meursault is a wine to be drunk between 5 and 10 years old.
