Saint Aubin 2023 - François Mikulski
Directly from the wine estate
- This wine comes from a plot planted in 1993 with Pinot Noir and then overgrafted in 2008 with Chardonnay. It is exposed South-South-West on the Saint Aubin hillside.
- Its total surface area is 0.1868 ha.
- The grape variety is 100% Chardonnay.
- Annual production: about 1200 bottles.
- The vineyard is cultivated under non-certified organic methods.
- This wine has a nice freshness with a nose of white fruits where pears dominate, a touch of vanilla and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, with golden apple, pear and grape jelly, a peppery and powerful finish with straightforwardness and good persistence. Ideally, this Saint Aubin is a wine to be drunk between 3 and 5 years old. It is best served with fish or white meat, butter or cream sauce.
