Gerard Gauby was nicknamed "crownless King" of Roussillon. Whether it is AOC wines or vins de pays, he is the most famous producer of the region. His Muntada, made from Syrah, is the most sought-after wine in Roussillon, but the whole range of his wines is excellent.
Domaine Gauby is a wine estate in Roussillon. It is located about 20 km from Perpignan. The estate extends over 85 hectares of vines of which a little more than 40 are over 120 years old. The wines of Domaine Gauby are renowned for their incredible aromatic complexity. It can be said that it is an atypical wine, coming from an estate endowed with great savoir-faire.
