Order wine : Château Gazin 1961
Pomerol
93/100 Parker
Tasted by Robert Parker in 1996: “The 1961 Gazin was a fabulous surprise. The wine has a stunning nose of caramel, chocolate and coffee, medium to full body, sweet, expansive and exotic flavors of black cherry and fruitcake, and a chewy, fleshy, velvety-textured finish. This wine has been fully mature for some time, but shows no signs of fruit loss or color degradation.
When to drink it : This old vintage has reached maturity. Drink it or collect it.
