Château Gazin 2012: Order wine at Best price
Pomerol
95/100 Robert Parker
Tasted by Neal Martin in 2016: ‘The 2012 Gazin has a complex, quite mercurial bouquet that seems quite candied at the moment. After five minutes it offers raspberry coulis, wild strawberries, marmalade and minerals. You could smell it all day long! The palate is quite full-bodied, with fine tannins and lively acidity, beautifully balanced with a harmony all its own. It glides across the palate, so much so that it almost makes you forget the structure behind it. This is a very good wine, a first-rate Pomerol with long-term ambitions. It may deserve an even higher score in the future. A wine to watch. Tasted in January 2016.
