- Tasting : The Crozes-Hermitage Rouge Papillon is the ardor of a beautiful Syrah on a terroir made of pebbles and a sandy-clay layer. In each bottle, there is a feminine and spicy side that can also be found in the Albéric Bouvet cuvée. Therefore, Papillon plays on the range of Syrah in which we crunch to the full With a limpid appearance with a bright and deep ruby color, with a frank and charming nose. Small black fruits, cherries, sweet spices form a beautiful harmony. Moreover, the attack is round and firm. Then the wine takes its fullness, letting speak a ripe fruit, clear and precise. The freshness is lively and enhanced by notes of white pepper and licorice. The still young tannins express themselves on a flattering velvet, which will assert itself during 2 to 3 years. A blend that gives this Crozes-Hermitage a very nice finish. 

- The estate says: "Wines based on terroirs with strong character". The harvest is done manually with a total destemming. Then, the grapes are selected on an optical sorting table. The extraction of the juice is done by pumping over and punching down, in order to respect the grapes. Finally, the wine is aged for 8 months in stainless steel tanks.

- To serve: temperature at 16 C°.

- To be served with: Red meat of all kinds.
