A coppery color with rose gold reflections. Very characteristic of a fruity rosé Champagne, with notes of strawberry jam, dried fig. In the mouth, a lively and fresh attack, notes of cherry, calamondin, pink lemon caviar, blood orange.
TECHNICAL DATA
- The domain tells you about it : "A Rosé which expresses mainly the qualities of red wines. In search of the luminous brilliance of chalk, the Chardonnays are selected from various crus where the chalk outcrops in the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs. Bottled at the end of spring following the harvest. Aged in cellars for at least 12 years. Precisely adjusted dosage to maintain the balance between freshness, fruitiness and vinosity without masking the wine's character and purity."
- Blend : Chardonnay 65%, Pinot Noir 35%, of which 8% is vinified in red
- Cellaring : 2010 - 12 years on lees at least
- Disgorging: after disgorging, the bottles are returned to the cellars to rest for at least 6 months, to allow the wine to assimilate the dosage harmoniously
- Villages : Ambonnay, Bouzy, Cumières, Louvois, Verzy...
