Fleurie Vieilles Vignes Lieu-dit Champagne 2020 - Domaine de la Grand Cour
This cuvée de Fleurie comes from the "Champagne" terroir located south of the Fleurie appellation. Large of 1,5 hectare, the plot is composed of very old vines aged 70 years and vines of about 40 years. With a shallow sandy soil on altered granite, the "Champagne" terroir faces south-east and peaks at an altitude of 260 meters. The yields obtained for the 2018 vintage are 30 hL/ha.
The grapes were vinified in concrete vats and then the wines were aged in oak barrels for 8 months.
