Tasted in 2017: “The nose is marked by an array of sweet spices and a hint of green pepper, with plenty of dark plums, crushed dark violet flowers and toasted grape toast. The palate has supple, generous tannins that develop into waves of smooth, velvety pastry texture. Long finish of blood plum and creamy espresso. Drink now and beyond.
