‘Tasted as part of a vertical tasting organised at the château.Like one or two other 2007s, the aromas of the Guiraud ‘07 are rather discreet at the moment and need to be coaxed out to offer honey, lemon cream and orange blossom.The palate is well balanced, with finer tannins than the 2006.Here, the quality of the vintage finally comes through with impressive precision and concentration, building to a fresh, feminine finish of apricot and dried peach that lingers long on the palate.This is an exceptional Guiraud, but it will reward those with patience.
