Château Haut-Bailly 2004
Pessac-Léognan - Cru Classé de Graves
93/100 Parker
Cellaring: 2010 - 2024
By Robert M. Parker in 2007 : "The 2004 Haut-Bailly is a candidate for the appellation's top wine in this vintage. Its dark ruby/purple color is accompanied by classic aromas of scorched earth, sweet cassis, cherries, and a hint of toast. Light on its feet, but substantially perfumed, it possesses stunning purity, good acidity, ripe tannins, and plenty of flavor and length. It builds gradually and subtly on the palate, but it's the real deal."
Anticipated maturity: now to 2024.
