Purchase wine : Puligny Montrachet Les Tremblots Haute Densité 2022 - Hubert Lamy
From the estate
What is high density?
In Burgundy, according to written records from the Middle Ages until the appearance of phylloxera in the 19th century, vines were grown at a high density of around 30,000 vines per hectare. This high density was the result of the observations and experiments of our ancestors, who had observed that competition was beneficial for the root system and the quality of the grapes and wine.
Tasting
Puligny-Montrachet Les Tremblots Haut Densité is brilliant, with notes of pear, citrus oil, white flowers and custard. Quite full-bodied, with a good texture; it has a dazzling concentration, with racy acids and a superb dry side. Long and penetrating, it is matured in a barrel dating from the 2013 vintage.
