Grape varieties: 100% Chardonnay on a plot of 2.87 hectares.
TERROIR
Grand Clos en Monopole surrounded by walls located in the Faubourgs de Meursault. This vine inherited from the Monks of Cîteaux has produced red and white wines since the beginning. It is a clay-limestone coluvium soil laid on an old river bed.
WINEMAKING & AGING
The grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes then the whole bunches are pressed in a pneumatic press. Alcoholic fermentation and aging take place 100% in oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation is carried out 100%.
Duration of breeding: 18 months.
TASTING NOTES
- COLOR: Bright green gold, silver reflections.
- NOSE: Notes of flint evolving into notes of yellow fruits (pineapple, apricot).
- TASTE: On tenderness and deliciousness. Spicy, tasty notes. Savory finish
