- Produced on a half-hectare plot in Chavanay, Condrieu Les Eguets is a beautiful representation of the appellation, with notes of peppery spices and aniseed. Fermented and matured in 500-litre barrels (20 to 25% new), it is medium to full-bodied, but rational and linear, with potential for improvement through short maturing.
- This wine is made from 100% Viognier grapes grown on a 0.5 hectare parcel of land at ‘Les Eguets’ in Chavanay, planted in 2010.
- It is matured for one year, 20% in new demi-muids and 80% in demi-muids that have already been used for 1 to 3 wines.This Condrieu reveals smoky notes and a slight bitterness, evolving towards aromas of yellow fruit.
