Tasted by Stephan Reinhardt in 2022: "The Graacher Himmelreich Auslese 2020 is discreet and remarkably fresh with a dense, lemony nose compared to the Zeltingen and Bernkastel. Aromas of white peach and nectarine intertwined with fresh aromas of broken slate make this a luscious and compelling Auslese, even if, or exactly because of that, this wine is so understated and only subversively erotic on the nose. The palate then reveals a surprising lightness and finesse, based on a filigree structure and a very refined and pungent acidity. It's almost weightless, but with a sweet core that materializes the fruit, whereas in the transcendental Zeltinger Sonnenuhr, it's more of an idea. 7% declared alcohol. Natural cork."
