The vineyard of Jura represents a wine-growing region located in the Jura in Franche-Comté. It extends over the Revermont and occupies a north-south strip long of 70 kilometres (from Salins-les-Bains to Saint-Amour) and wide of 6 kilometres that runs along the geological fracture separating Bresse from the Jura massif. Marked by a typical personality and covering about 2,000 hectares, it is one of the smallest vineyards in France.
