Tasting by Lisa Perrotti-Brown: “Lafleur's 2018 Les Perrieres is a blend of 49% Merlot and 51% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple in color, it soars out of the glass with wonderfully gregarious notes of kirsch, Black Forest cake and wild blueberries, followed by nuances of menthol, rose hip tea and underbrush. The fairly full-bodied palate is packed with layers of energetic red and black fruit, supported by deliciously ripe, fine-grained tannins and bold freshness, finishing on a long, perfumed note. Mmmm, that's good!”
