This is one of our partner estates, which means that their wines are shipped directly to our cellar following their bottling at their estate. Presentation of the estate

The cuvées d'assemblage are elaborated with the aim of obtaining champagnes that are not standard. They are not characterised by the vintage effect brought by each harvest. Each year, they offer different characteristics while preserving the style of the Lancelot-Pienne house: fruity, round, balanced wines, with light flavours, without too much structure.

  

The art of blending is based on three criteria:

- The number of parcels: chosen according to their age, exposure, soil and terroir.

- The grape varieties and their particularities: the marriage of the three Champagne grape varieties grown on the clay-limestone and sandy soils of the Marne valley and the southern slopes of Epernay, with a predominantly East-West exposure.

- Reserve wines: wines matured and kept in vats according to a system called "Solera". This mixture of young and older wines (up to ten years old), blended and rejuvenated each year by the harvest wine, brings the substance and complexity giving its touch, its style, to the Lancelot-Pienne house.
