Table Ronde Grand Cru - Champagne Lancelot Pienne
93/100 Parker
Cellaring: now - 2033
By Stephan Reinhardt: "The NV Extra Brut Grand Cru Table Ronde is a blend of Chardonnay from three grands crus-Cramant (60%), Chouilly (30%) and Avize (10%). The wine opens with a very clear, fresh and chalky-elegant bouquet with citrus, white fruit and floral notes as well as a nice brioche aroma. This is a straightforward, pure, very elegant, fine and balanced Côte des Blancs with perfectly ripe, elegant and lush fruit. Its chalky texture and remarkable purity make it an excellent representative of the Côte des Blancs. The finish, intensely fruity and mineral, reveals a firm structure and fine tension."
