When to drink this wine? Now to 2031
Tasted by Robert M. Parker on May 2, 2011: "The 2008 Larcis Ducasse (14.2% natural alcohol) is 78% Merlot and 22% Cabernet Franc. Although it is closed at the moment and less prodigious than I predicted two years ago, it reveals an opaque purple colour, plenty of sweet fruitcake, cassis, kirsch, forest floor, and earth notes, sweet tannin, and a long finish. This is an exceptional wine and should be enjoyed over the next 20 years."
