Order wine : Château le Bon Pasteur 2010
Pomerol
Tasting notes :
Colour: The Bon Pasteur de Pomerol wine has a deep, intense ruby colour.
Nose: On the nose, there are aromas of ripe red and black fruit, such as black cherry and blackberry, with occasional hints of plum. Floral and spicy touches may also be present, with occasional hints of vanilla from oak ageing.
Palate: On the palate, the wine is often fleshy and velvety, with well-integrated tannins. The structure is elegant, with complex aromas. There are ripe fruit flavours, sometimes accompanied by hints of wood and spice. The finish can be long and pleasant.
Serving temperature: Pomerol wines, including those from Château Bon Pasteur, are generally served at between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius. This allows the wine to express itself fully and release all its aromas and flavours.
