Domaine Leflaive - Puligny-Montrachet

The Leflaive family, owner of Domaine Leflaive for 3 generations, has been practising biodynamic production for more than 20 years. The vineyard extends over 25 hectares. Since the death of Anne-Claude Leflaive, it is her nephew, Brice de la Morandière, who succeeds her. He continues to perpetuate the family tradition and ancestral savoir-faire. The vines are divided between: Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne and Meursault. Domaine Leflaive owns some very prestigious plots of land, with grands crus such as: Bâtard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet and Montrachet. Concerning the Premier Cru, there are excellent parcels too, with : Les Pucellles, Le Clavoillon, Les Combettes, Les Folatières in white, and Le Blagny in red. Domaine Leflaive's annual production is close to 120,000 bottles. The estate is a reference for lovers of great Burgundy wines. These white wines are among the most fascinating of Burgundy and are the perfect definition of the terroir.
