- Tasted by Lisa Perrotti-Brown on March 14, 2019: "Medium-deep garnet in color, the 2009 Léoville Las Cases reveals a gorgeous nose of baked blackberries, warm plums, and creme de cassis with hints of violets, rosehip tea, dark chocolate, menthol, and sandalwood. The palate is rich, concentrated and decadent, with super ripe, fine tannins and seamless freshness. The finish is very long and exotic."
