Château Léoville Poyferré 1983
Saint-Julien - 2ème Grand Cru Classé
91/100 Parker
Cellaring : This wine can be drunk now
Tasting : "One of the superstars of the vintage that doesn't decline. Leoville-Poyferré's wine has a dark garnet color, a sweet nose of plum liqueur intermixed with licorice, black currants, tobacco, and Provencal herbs. The wine is round, seductive, with some opulence, low acidity, gorgeous fruit and a beautiful mouthfeel. "
