THE ESTATE TELLS YOU ABOUT IT
- The cuvée: The Bruandières hillside has long been renowned: "The vineyards that produce superior qualities are those of the Coulée de Serrant and Rousselière, in the commune of Savennières; the Clos des Buandières, in the commune of St Aubin de Luygné; and the Quartz-de-Chaulne, in the commune of Rochefort. When they were created in the 1950s, the chenin appellations in Anjou spoke of terroir, winegrowers and wine lovers, and did not lock chenin in a cage. With this dry cuvée, from Clos des Bruandières in 2019, like our sweet cuvée in other years, we are reviving the diversity of scores that Chenin can play on the Layon terroirs, from the driest to the sweetest, depending on the vintage, the plots and the mood of the winemakers.
