Bourgogne Couvent des Jacobins 2022 - Louis jadot
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
Bourgogne Rouge Couvent des Jacobins is made from Pinot Noir grapes. It is a blend of carefully selected wines from all over the Côte d'Or, from Gevrey-Chambertin to Maranges, via the Hautes Côtes de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Nuits. It also includes wines from Saône-et-Loire, notably Mercurey and Givry, in the south of the region.
CHARACTERISTICS
Maison Louis Jadot's winery in Givry is dedicated exclusively to the vinification of Burgundy wines. This infrastructure allows optimal control of supply, combining grapes from the house's own estates with those of Côte Chalonnaise winemakers who trust Louis Jadot to sublimate their production.
VINIFICATION AND AGEING
The wines used in this blend are vinified using traditional methods. They are aged for 8 to 10 months, either in barrels from our own cooperage or in stainless steel tanks, before being carefully blended for bottling.
