GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION
Chambolle Musigny is a village of great renown despite its small size. It owes its reputation to the quality of its wines and the fame of its first growths.
CHARACTERISTICS
The "Sentiers" are located in the north of the village of Chambolle, right next to the climate. Les Baudes below the " Bonnes Mares ", at the limit of the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, on a particular very stony soil.
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are then carefully sorted by hand and destemmed. The maceration of the grapes takes place in open wooden or stainless steel vats or stainless steel vats for 3 to 4 weeks. The vats are pumped twice a day during the fermentation. The maturation lasts about 18 months in barrels of our cooperage, of which about a third are new. are new.
