LOCATION
This Climat is east oriented, in the middle of the slope situated at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters.
VINEYARD INFORMATION
This Premier Cru ripes later than other locations in the same village and needs more patience before harvesting nice and ripe skins. Côte Chalonnaise. Maison Louis Jadot produces both red and white Sazenay.
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
Grapes are harvested by hand and put in small cases in order not to damage the fruits. Grapes are pressed softly, they ferment in oak barrels produced by our cooperage. 1/3 are new barrels. Aging usually lasts 15 months on fine lies before bottling.
