Meursault White 2021 - Louis jadot
Great Bourgogne estate
The estate tells you about it:
Cellaring: 5-15 years, depending on the vintage
Serving temperature : 12-14 °C
GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION
Meursault is without doubt the most famous village in Burgundy for white wines. Located in the south of the Côte de Beaune, its vineyards are spread out on gentle slopes, between 230 and 360 metres in altitude. The east-facing aspect is very favourable for maximum sunshine.
CHARACTERISTICS
The wines of Meursault are always charming and expressive. Their approach is very representative of the Chardonnay grown in Burgundy.
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are then gently pressed then fermented in barrels from our cooperage, a third of which are new. The wine is aged for about 15 months on fine lees before preparation for bottling.
