Order wine : Nuits St Georges 1er cru Les Boudots 2014 in Magnum - Louis Jadot
From the estate
93/100 Wine Spectator
When to drink it : Best from 2021 to 2036
Tasting note by Neal Martin: "Well marked by new oak, this red is awkward today, showing ample vanilla, clove, smoke and cherry flavors that meld together, supported by dense, oaky tannins. Be patient while it clears up".

VINIFICATION AND MATURING
The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are then carefully sorted by hand and destemmed. Maceration of the grapes takes place in open wooden or stainless steel vats for 3 to 4 weeks. The vats are pumped over twice a day during fermentation. The wine is aged for about 18 months in barrels from our cooperage, about a third of which are new.
