Anticipated aging: 2018 - 2028
By Neal Martin on December 30, 2016: "The 2015 Pommard 1er Cru Clos de la Commaraine has an extroverted, almost Volnay-like bouquet, with hearty aromas of red cherry and strawberry pie carefully integrated with oak. The palate is medium-bodied, with sweet ripe red cherry and raspberry fruit, fine tannins and a pleasant spicy finish that lingers on the palate. This is simply a very nice Pommard to enjoy over the next decade."
