Tasting by JS: "A very fresh and tight Corton Charlemagne with the intense spice, bold structure and steel you expect from this appellation. Stunning concentration, which at this early stage makes the wine slightly austere (still too young), but all this gives it great ageing potential. Fantastic integration of oak, fruit and mineral acidity in the stunning finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2024."

Description : After the ravages of Phylloxera at the end of the 19th century, the Louis Latour family decided to uproot the dead vines of Aligoté and Pinot Noir and replace them with Chardonnay. Today, with 10.5 hectares, Louis Latour is the largest owner of this Grand Cru. The Corton-Charlemagne vineyard is located in the best part of the Corton hillside, where the south-east exposure ensures that the vines receive ideal sunshine and a perfect balance between acidity and grape maturity.

- Tasting: Our Corton-Charlemagne has a magnificent pale yellow colour and reveals a complex nose of fresh almond, roasted hazelnut and smoky notes. The palate is powerful with notes of yellow fruit and vanilla. One notes a beautiful persistence on the palate.
