Maury 1991 L'Archiviste
Philippe Gayral
Style : Natural sweet wine
Keeping: Can be drunk now or kept for decades.
The bouquet is very harmonious, with notes of kirsch, brandy, menthol and cardamom, well defined. The palate is round and very harmonious, without asperities. There's a tingle of lemongrass and ginger on the back end, complemented by fennel, cumin and oregano towards the caressing finish. This is a beautifully crafted Maury by Philippe Gayral.
