When to drink this wine : 2016 - 2031
Tasted by Jeb Dunnuck in 2016: ‘A real blockbuster, the Grenache-dominated 2012 IGP Vaucluse comes from clay-limestone soils around Rasteau and spent 24-36 months in a combination of foudres and demi-muids. Loaded with notes of black cherry, cassis, crushed rocks, liquorice and grilled herbs, this beautiful wine is full-bodied, voluptuous, sexy and beautifully textured. Although it is very rich, it also has remarkable purity, good freshness and ripe tannins that frame the finish well. It's already hard to resist, but it will continue to wow you for another 10-15 years.’
