Tasting note by William Kelley on January 20, 2022: "The 2019 Meursault Saint-Christophe unfolds in the glass with aromas of pear, wheat toast, praline and a deft touch of youthful reduction. Medium-bodied, taut and fine-boned, with racy acids and a delicate core of fruit, it concludes with a saline finish. It will unravel with bottle age to reveal more texture and breadth. As usual, this is a cuvée composed of the Casse-Tête, Petits Charrons and Narvaux du Dessous holdings."

Since the 2016 vintage, at Domaine de Montille, Meursault "Saint Christophe" brings together the three climates "Casse-Têtes", "Les Petits Charrons" and "Les Narvaux du Dessous", three terroirs each recognized for their exceptional quality and all remarkably well located in the middle of the Meursault hillside also known as "Montagne Saint-Christophe".

The result is a well-balanced wine which unites in a beautiful complementarity, the generous character of the "Petits-Charrons", the minerality of the "Casse-Têtes" and the complexity and elegance of the "Narvaux du Dessous".

The name "Saint-Christophe" is a nod to the hillside and the highest point of the village, where a statue of Saint-Christophe is located, offering a panoramic view of the village and especially of the different climates of Meursault.
