Tasted by William Kelley: "The 2020 La Mission Haut-Brion is a brilliant wine with an impressive level of balance and integration for such a powerful young Bordeaux. It is full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a muscular profile, its ominous fruit core framed by a generous endowment of powdery tannins that temper the ripeness of the vintage. At 14.7% alcohol, it's more classic than the more flamboyant 2019 vintage or even the slow-ripening 2010, which I tasted alongside it again to put it into context."
