Presentation of Domaine Monthelie-Douhairet

The Domaine Monthelie-Douhairet-Porcheret is located in the commune of Monthelie. The wine estate has the same name as its own village. Quite simply because it was Mr Monthelie who gave birth to the estate 300 years ago. The estate extends over 6 hectares of vines, owns 4 vineyards in Village and Premier Cru, namely Monthelie, Volnay, Pommard, Meursault. The estate uses sustainable and traditional practices. Named after the 300 year old Burgundian village in which it is located, Monthelie Douhairet has been run by the Douhairet family for many years. In 1989, Mrs Douhairet entrusted the famous winemaker André Porcheret with the management of the estate and added his name to it. He has been one of the great names in Burgundy for half a century.
