Tasting
This is one of the great "signature" wines of the Moreau-Naudet house. A soil which marks the wine with its mark, giving it this mineral tension, both iodized and spicy, and this fine bitterness, typical of the best Vaillons.
The Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons is gorgeous, unfolding in the glass with notes of pear, white flowers, oyster shell, tangerine oil and light honey. Satiny and layered, fleshy with fruit notes and a bright, saline finish, it revealed itself brilliantly after a full 20 months of aging on the lees.
