Pauillac - Premier Grand Cru Classé
NOTATION : 95/100 James Suckling
- Cellaring: 2019 - 2035
- Tasted by Neal Martin on October 28, 2016 : "The 2013 Mouton-Rothschild has a conservative, straightforward, tobacco-tinged bouquet, nicely defined but lacking depth. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, balanced with tobacco and red fruit, moderate depth with hints of dried herbs on the finish. I can imagine it becoming approachable in a few years, but the pedigree of the terroir will come through with aeration."
TERROIR
The 2013 Mouton Rothschild is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc.
