Château Mouton Rothschild 2016
Pauillac - Premier Grand Cru Classé
100/100 Parker: Legendary vintage
Tasting by Lisa Perrotti-Brown: “Composed of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, Mouton Rothschild 2016 has an opaque garnet-purple color. The nose explodes in the glass with powerful aromas of blackcurrant cordial, black raspberry, blueberry tart and melted chocolate, as well as notes of anise, camphor, kirsch and, in the background, a subtle floral perfume. The full-bodied, concentrated, bold and utterly seductive palate is endowed with very fine, silt-like tannins, while brimming with tightly wound layers of fruit, finishing with a marvelous array of mineral sparks. Magical.
Cellaring : 2022 - 2085
