Tasted by Lisa Perrotti-Brown in 2020: "Deep garnet-purple in colour, the 2019 Ormes de Pez leaps from the glass with energetic scents of black raspberries, fresh blackberries and crushed cassis, as well as suggestions of menthol, dark chocolate, cedar chest and pencil lead with a hint of rose oil. The palate has electrically charged dark fruit flavours with compelling tension and beautifully ripe, fine-grained tannins, for a long, fragrant finish. Delicious!"
